For the TWELFTH consecutive year in the fall of 2023, KidsTalkAboutGod.org plans to offer children in South Texas another opportunity to win a family vacation by writing and drawing for publication in an online book. As always, this is an ALL-VIRTUAL festival. Two family vacations at South Padre Island will be awarded for this year’s arts festival. Isla Grand Beach Resort and Beach Resort at South Padre Island will host arts festival winners with their families during the summer of 2023. One vacation will be awarded to a child in kindergarten through third grade and the other will be offered to a child in fourth through sixth grades. Each SPI resort vacation prize is good for the winning child and up to four immediate family members.

Like last year, the focus of the South Texas Children’s Arts Festival will be the Gospel of John. Two sets of three questions for the 2023-24 school year will be posted at www.KidsTalkAboutGod.org/stx. Children will answer and illustrate one or more of three festival questions. The best art and writing will be published at a later date in the Kids Color Me Bible Gospel of John, which is a free, online book that website visitors can view or download and print to use as Bible lessons.

The best writing will be featured in the Kids Talk About God syndicated newspaper column, which appears in the Monitor on Fridays, the Brownsville Herald on Saturdays and in about 50 other newspapers throughout the nation.

Summary of Web Exposure for All Sponsors
Regardless of when companies or professionals sponsor, all will receive exposure through featuring their logos or names on the arts festival web page at www.KidsTalkAboutGod.org/stx and in Facebook ads. The logos or names will stay on the festival web page and in Facebook ads for at least one year from the sponsor date. If a sponsor has a website, the logo or name on our web page will be linked to it.
