Kids Talk About God (KTAG) started with an idea and a vision. The idea is that children have a way of touching our hearts and reminding us that we must come to God with childlike faith. The vision is to capture their faith expressions and make them available to all through an online portfolio.
Our mission is to create forums for kids to share their faith. We make these inspirational expressions of faith available online without charge to children and families who visit our website or a sponsored webpage on our site.
Kids Talk About God started when journalist Carey Kinsolving launched a worldwide contest to find a child to feature in a global mission trip. The Mission Explorers Video Series has been distributed by Word Ministry Resources as video curriculum to more than 2,500 churches. This popular series is now part of the Kids Talk About God Online Portfolio, along with its sequel, Mission Explorers Kenya for Kids.
After producing Mission Explorers, Kinsolving set his sights on writing the Kids Talk About God newspaper column, which has been in syndication since 2000. These winsome columns are now being distributed by complimentary e-mail subscription.
Children’s faith expressions in the form of artwork and writing are featured in the Kids Color Me Bible, the Kids Color Me Bible Gospel of John and the Kids Talk About God Online Art Gallery. You will find these a treasury of Bible lessons, coloring pages and scripture memory cards.
The Kid TV Interviews are the most entertaining part of the KTAG Online Portfolio. In the spirit of Art Linkletter’s Kids Say the Darndest Things, Kinsolving interviewed hundreds of children. Their responses to Bible- and God-related questions ran for 20 consecutive months on ABC affiliate KRGV-TV. For fun, insight and inspiration, take a few minutes to watch all 61 of the 30-second KTAG Kid TV Interviews.
